Nestled in the foothills of the Missouri Ozarks is the historic 200 year old homestead of Avelene and Jim McCaul. In this setting spinning, natural dying and raising champion sheep and over 150 natural coloured angora goats has continued for over 40 years. They are the oldest breeders of natural coloured sheep and one of the two oldest breeders of natural coloured Angora goats in Missouri with over 20 generations of colours in their herd.

Indian Springs Woolery, in the village of Potosi, showcases our handspun vegetal dyed yarns, hand knit and handwoven items. We are the only Missouri dealer of Jensen Spinning Wheels and also carry Ashford, Louet and Schacht wheels and other products for the spinner or weaver.
